THE COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY OF VSK KENTAVAR Ltd . is carried out by 60 employees:

      - in the city of Sofia – in own warehouses on 15 decares and in shops;
      - in the town of Drianovo - in a shop at the plant;
      - in the town of Velingrad - in a shop at the plant.

VSK KENTAVAR Ltd. is certified by ISO 9001: 2000 and supplies with raw materials, spare parts and machines some of the biggest Bulgarian plants and companies in the branches machine building, power engineering, metallurgy, construction, military industry, chemical industry, light and heavy industries and agriculture. The range of traded products comprises more than 100 000 items as follows:

 

A) Own production:

- metalworking and cutting tools including tooling and technological equipment, tool system VDI, tool-holders type SK, HSK turning tools, high precision vices for NC machines, bench vices, milling cutters and drills with indexable inserts, lathe tools and milling cutters with brazed carbide tips, carbide monolith tools (VSK KENTAVAR Ltd. is the official producer and supplier to Bulgaria of the products of Kennametal – USA);

- metalworking machines including bench and column drilling machines, bench drilling and milling machines, threaders and bench chamfering machines;

- woodworking machines including woodworking milling machines, circular saws, drilling and grooving machines (mortisers), combined 2- operation machines (surface planer with thicknesser and spindle moulder with circular saw), combined 3-operation machines (surface planer with thicknesser and mortiser), combined 5-operation machines (surface planer with thicknesser, spindle moulder, circular saw and mortiser);

- others - glass boring machines, assemblies, details, equipment and spare parts for metalworking machines, tool-holders, spindles and face plates for universal lathes, central lubrication impulse system, clamping devices, electromagnetic tables, two-coordinate tables, tailstock centers, reducing sleeves and taper shank for drill chucks, pins, screws and washers, hammers, metal details on customer’s documentation and request;

- services - regrinding of carbide monolith tools as well as producing cast-iron, aluminium and steel mouldings from 0.2 kg up to 250 kg;

- occupational and special clothing.

B) Directly purchased/imported products of other producers:

hand tools, threaders and boring tools, deburring hand tools, power tools, feeders for woodworking machines, bearings, spare parts for heavy trucks, polyester slings and ratchet lashing systems, fasteners, insulation materials, acrylic resin sheets, lighting luminaries, electrical system components, ironmongery, silicones, sealants, abrasive tools and coated abrasives, electrodes and welding wire, laboratory glassware, chemicals and apparatuses, personal protective equipment, hoses and many other articles.

THE MANUFACTURING ACTIVITY OF VSK KENTAVAR Ltd. is held in:

I. VSK-Kentavar ZMM Ltd. in the town of Velingrad - 90 employees

In the plant are produced:

1. Metalworking machines: bench and column drilling machines, bench drilling and milling machines, threaders and bench chamfering machines.
2. Woodworking machines: woodworking milling machines; circular saws; drilling and grooving machines (mortisers); combined 2-operation machines (surface planer with thicknesser and spindle moulder with circular saw), combined 3-operation machines (surface planer with thicknesser and mortiser), combined 5-operation machines (surface planer with thicknesser, spindle moulder, circular saw and mortiser).
3. Glass boring machines.
4. Assemblies, details, equipment and spare parts for metalworking machines: couplings and assembly units, tool-holders, spindles and face plates for universal lathes, central lubrication impulse system with volumetric batcher; electro-mechanical clamping devices, wedge-type clamping chucks, electromagnetic tables with impulse control, twocoordinate tables, dead and revolving tailstock centers, reducing sleeves and taper shank for drill chucks.
5. Small details (fasteners): pins, screws and washers, details on customer’s documentation and request.

II. VSK KENTAVAR - IZ DINAMIKA Ltd. in the town of Drianovo - 250 employees

The Quality Management System of the company is certified and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and the Allied Quality Assurance Publication (AQAP - 21 0) of NATO. An Environmental Management System was elaborated and put into practice in the plant too – a certification of that management system by ISO 14001:2004 is forthcoming.

The plant is specialized in production of metalworking tools and their technological equipment, tool system VDI according to DIN 69880 for NC machines, tool-holders type SK to DIN 2080 and DIN 69871, BT-JIS B 6339 (MAS 403), HSK-A DIN 69893, HSK turning tools, reducing and extension sleeves, quick change tool system, quick change tool system for boring machines, high precision vices for NC machines, modular vices for boring machines, bench vices, tool holders, milling cutters and drills with indexable inserts, lathe tools and milling cutters with brazed carbide tips, regrinding and production of carbide monolith tools (milling cutters and drills), power and hand hacksaw blades, HSS-bits, hammers, combat knife (personal cold steel) and light manual entrenching tool with hold-bag, specially designed as parts of the equipment of military and antiterrorist units.

The plant is supplier of metalworking tools with indexable inserts for KENNAMETAL (USA) and WALTER AG (Germany) as well as representative to Bulgaria of the KENNAMETAL range for turning, milling and drilling referred to as Kenna Universal.

The tools of VSK Kentavar – IZ Dinamika Ltd. are produced on high precision and modern machines: Mazak Integrex, Hermle, Okamoto, Walter Helitronic Power etc.

The plant has its own foundry for cast-iron, aluminium and steel mouldings from 0.2 kg up to 250 kg;

The Fashion House VSK Kentavar Ltd. is also on the territory of VSK Kentavar – IZ Dinamika Ltd.

III. FASHION HOUSE KENTAVAR Ltd. in the town of Drianovo - 100 employees

The company produces a wide range of work wear suitable for normal and special conditions of work. More than 700 models are classified in a collection of 10 groups. The work wear meets all European requirements and criteria.
The plants in Velingrad and Drianovo have their own chemical laboratories and central research laboratories for control of raw materials, end products and technological processes.

About 90 percent of the products manufactured in the plants of VSK KENTAVAR are predestined for export to the USA, Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, Sweden, Portugal, Finland etc.
